1975 to 1985: wealth manager in a Geneva private bank (Darier & Cie),
assistant to one of the partners from 1975 to 1981. Director from 1981 to 1985.
In 1982 participated in the founding of Genevest Consulting Group (venture capital company).
In 1986 he became independent. He created his own asset management company (Private Man. Hafner).
In 1987, he became a partner of the Compagnie de Banque et d’Investissements (CBI) and joined the Board of Directors of CBI.
In 1990 he became a director of CBI Holding (until 1994), created by CBI which bought TDB to found Union Bancaire Privée ( UBP ), owned by CBI Holding.
In the 1990s, participated in the creation of a telecommunications company (Europlus Communications Holdind Lux. to create TV Rai-America).
In 1993 became the founder and president of a geopolitical analysis company (Geopol Services S.A.).
His main interest has always been in the venture capital sector (technology, biotechnology and communication sectors).
In June 2004, he became one of the founding partners of Miradreams S.A. This company works in collaboration with the University of Geneva (“Miralab”, directed by Mrs. Nadia Magnenat-Thalmann, vice-rector) in the field of software concerning the “virtual human being”. The product currently being commercialized concerns “fashion” and is called “Fashonizer”.
